- Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
- The kitchen at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Montgomery was outdated and not meeting the needs of a Church that frequently holds dinners for its members and their community. The great cooks of the Church had the skills but not a kitchen to match. Father John and Mitch worked together to plan a new space to meet their needs. The solution was to gut the 3,200 square foot space and completely renovate the kitchen, clean-up room and dining hall. The commercial kitchen renovation included a new floor, lighting, convection oven, industrial range hood with a fire suppression system, HVAC unit, make-up air unit, 6 basket deep fryer, icemaker, and stainless steel preparation tables and shelving. Adjoining the kitchen is now a clean-up room with a new commercial dishwasher, stainless steel three bowl sink, and rolling stainless steel dish storage units and shelving. Two windows were cut in the block wall to provide access from the kitchen and clean-up room to the dining hall. The dining hall was revived with new lighting, a fresh coat of paint and four new closets. The smiling faces at the first spaghetti dinner held in the renovated space indicated the project and the spaghetti were both a huge success.
